Garsport was founded in 1972 by the will of its founders, Diego Garbuio and Gabriella Favotto, passionate artisans who decided to start a small company producing mountain shoes.
Since then, Garsport has never stopped, thanks to the passion handed down by the founders and the professionalism of its employees.
Diego Garbuio, a footwear craftman, established a production workshop with his wife Gabriella.
The company started the production of light trekking shoes.
When the two sons Mauro and Cristian joined the activity, the company experienced a period of strong experimentation and development. Besides producing shoes for well-known international brands, Garsport started manufacturing hiking, mountain, snow board and safety shoes as well.
The company specialized in producing trekking shoes for other companies under Goretex licence, getting in 2009 the ISO 9000 quality certification.
In 2010 Garsport started to produce shoes under its own brand.
Another important step for Garsport. The company begins to realize its projects also in innovative digital platforms, investing in technology and in the new online e-shop.
The quality of the product is a key principle of the Garsport philosophy. The continuous research of new materials and the careful control on the production processes, guarantee excellent quality standards and an undisputed safety and durability of the footwear made.
